  Not impressed! My girlfriend filled out adoption paperwork for a puppy on Sat, Mar 17, while visiting Bisbee. She listed me as one of the references. I was called Sunday by the shelter asking me questions. We did not hear anything for a couple days. When called they said they had only called one of the references, and were waiting on the vet to call back to verify all her existing dogs were current on shots. Two more days went by without hearing from them. She repeatedly tried to call them, but was ignored. She finally received a text message today, Mar 22 with the following...
  
  "The puppies went to the Arizona animal welfare league in Phoenix. Please call the adoption center to follow up!"
  
  So I guess we have to start over again.
